Viktoria is Slovak guitarist and composer, based in London. Classically trained as a guitarist and composer, she explores the Liminal spaces of Notated and Improvised Music. She regularly performs and composes, experimenting with instruments, live electronics, and preparations in her free time. Viktoria was part of a guitar orchestra called ‘A Teraztutto’ performing in Slovakia and abroad; she participated in many competitions and she was awarded various prizes in Slovakia and abroad. In addition to composing and performing, she has collaborated with other musicians, dancers, directors, etc., Viktoria is also studying conducting and has many experiences as a tutor. Viktoria teaches guitar from beginners to advanced students age 6 and up.

First Lesson
The first lesson with Viktoria would be split into two parts. First, she will talk to the student about their expectations, preferences, the way they would like to play, and which teaching style they want Viktoria to use. In the second part she will make a plan for the student and propose some pieces to start with!
Beginners
Beginners are more than welcome!!! If you are a beginner you don’t need to bring a guitar to the first lesson, as Viktoria can lend you hers. However, you will need one to practice on as you progress!
